Winter 2009 Registration Information: Registration will start December 8th, 2008, 5-8 pm in the Community School Office. Classes require minimum number of
students. Refunds are given only when a class is cancelled. Classes begin the week of January 26th, 2009. The scheduled holidays during this term are
February 16th, 2009. Registration for ESOL classes is Monday - Thursday 6:00 - 8:30pm in the Media Center.

Fees: All course fees include a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee. Many material fees are paid to instructor 1st night of class. Please check
registration form when you register.

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS/SERVICES

FREE ESOL CLASSES (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
ESOL classes offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced - Conversation,
Listening, Reading, and Grammar. Prepare for college, technical school,
workplace advancement, or personal achievement. Classes are from Monday
thru Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm. Registration and placement test dates:
Monday-Thursday from 6:00-8:30pm and will be held in the media center.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER TRAINING - Learn the skills and techniques to
successfully manage classroom/behavior situation. Eligibility: A day-to-day
substitute is a temporary employee who works on an as needed basis. Official
transcript(s) reflecting a minimum of 30 semester hours of college credit are
required. 6:00-9:00 pm on the following dates: January 13 & 14, February 3 & 4,
March 3 & 4, April 7 & 8, May 5 & 6. Register in the Adult & Community
Education office between 2:00 and 8:00 pm. Monday-Thursdays, $20.00/class.
SAT PREPARATION - Marty Feldman’s SAT Prep is a course consisting of
sessions geared towards learning specific strategies to succeed on the new
SAT. Students will improve their content knowledge while learning vital testtaking
skills. Please call Marty Feldman at (561) 715-4006 for further
information.
LITTLE SHARKS PRESCHOOL - Limited full time openings for 3 to 5 year
old children; offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Please call
