CHINESE COOKING IV
MENU: Bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, deep fried walnut chicken, spring roll, shrimp toast, pan-fried dumplings, and much more.
COMPUTER - Level 2 - MS WORD
Some knowledge of computers necessary. Must have flash drive. Uses hands-on approach.
PRONUNCIATION & ACCENT REDUCTION (M & W)
(Vowels) Learn to pronounce American English clearly, correctly, and confidently.
REALISTIC DRAWING
Learn the drawing techniques perfected by the Italian Renaissance Master Artists. Some topics to be covered: Theory of light and shade, composition, perspective, and proportion.
SPANISH CONVERSATION
Prequalification - Completion of Spanish for Everyone textbook; beginning Spanish.
TOEFL IBT (M & W) - Part I
The Test Of English as a Foreign Language. The course is a review of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Listening tapes are utilized in the recognition of English words and sounds.
WONDEROUS WRITINGS
Writing with paper and pencil, we will work individually and in groups to create short stories, poems, narratives, and simple thoughts. This hands-on class will allow opportunity for expression whether a novice or experienced writer.
ACTING FUNDAMENTALS
Six Training Sessions given by Val Chevron. Must be over 18 years of age.
CHINESE CONVERSATION - Beginning
Basic conversation skills. Handouts will be provided.
CHINESE CONVERSATION II
Accent correction. In-depth conversations geared to business. Handouts will be provided.
SPANISH - BEGINNING
A general overview of the Spanish language at a beginning level.
CRAFTS FOR ALL SEASONS
Project: Collage pictures. Students should bring scissors, a ruler, and pencils.
GOURMET COOKING with Chef Catherine Lucas
Bring a dish towel and apron. Please wear closed-toed shoes. $50 fee (CASH) for food, payable to the teacher on the first night of class.
HTML Coding - Beginning
Must know keyboarding, how to create folders, and how to save, get, and open documents. Uses hands-on approach.
