 Getting Started  
Winter 2010 Registration Information:
Registration for E 20/20 is ongoing. Adult Classes registration will begin January 5, 2010, from 3:00 pm to 6:10 pm. Monday thru Thursday at Glades Central Community High School in the Main Office. Classes will begin on Monday, January 25, 2010, unless otherwise noted.
 

Requirements:
There are no residency requirements to attend classes. However, all Adult Education Students must have an official picture I.D. (Driver License, State of Florida ID or Passport will be accepted) and Social Security Number will be requested in order to attend classes. Students enrolling in the ABE/GED/ESOL classes must take a placement test before entering classes for the first time. No specific test score is required for admission. Placement tests are used for developing individualized learning plans and placing a student in the correct class.

THE GLADES CENTRAL ADULT AND COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM “FREE CHILDCARE”
Don’t let the lack of childcare stand in the way of prepping for your High School Diploma. “Free Childcare” is provided for Adult Education Students from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday-Thursday. Who can attend? Children between the ages of 2 and 13 may attend. Two year olds must be potty trained. Children in the program attend activities that are going on while they are in class at no charge to the parent.

LEASE OUR FACILITY
Our facilities can be leased for evening and weekend use by community groups and individuals for meetings, church services, banquets and performances. The rates are reasonable. Call the Adult and Community Education Office at 561-993-4404 for more information. Out Reach programs for special need groups can be included.
