Winter 2008 Registration Information:
Classes begin April 14th Register March 24 - April 4 Monday-Thursday 2:00 pm-8:00 pm, Friday 9:30 am-3:00 pm
 

Fees:
Cash or Check Only. A $10 registration fee is included in the cost of each class and is non-refundable unless a class is cancelled. Classes are for 8 weeks unless stated otherwise.

Winter 2008 Classes
Stay in Shape, Exercise, and Have Fun
Dance Class Ballroom/Latin Dance or Swing Dance is great exercise. All levels welcome. Partner Required.
Irish Square Dancing
Popular kind of dancing done all over the world. Have fun dancing and learn a part of Irish culture.
Line Dancing
Mixture of western and social line dancing.
Karate Youth
(ages 5-17) Training strengthens and conditions the body, develops character and self-control. Determination+Discipline+Hard Work =Key to Success. Personal Fitness/Circuit Training Class
is designed to zone in on fitness. Following circuit is mandatory. A Certified Trainer on site.
Yoga
Heal the body, calm the mind and renew the spirit. Sivananda Yoga.
Expand Your Talents
Spanish I
Beginning Learning another language can be an asset in many ways. Come join and learn with others.
Photoshop Adobe CS3 Learn to do exciting things with digital photos. Beginning level class that is fun & exciting. Portrait Drawing Class
All levels of instruction drawing from life and/or photographs. Drawing materials supplied. Art is fun, come learn portrait drawing
Pottery
All levels working on the pottery wheel or hand building. All pottery wheels are electric. Bisque and glaze firing on site.
Sewing for Dummies
Level I Learn a lifetime skill. Basic sewing skills are taught including operating machine, pattern layout & cutting, sewing & fabric terms. It is sew much fun. Limited to 14 participants (7 weeks).
Sewing for Dummies
Level II This course provides intermediate sewing techniques such as darts, zippers, double stitch, topstitching, under stitching, and pockets. Limited to 14 participants (7 weeks).

Adult Education Classes/No Charge
Adult Education Classes/No Charge ABE/GED Classes: For entry into the ABE/GED Program. Pre-register in person by the Friday before pre-test. Pre-test dates: March 31 & April 1; May 19 & 20. Must be present both days of pre-test. Arrive at 6:15 pm. ESOL Classes: Register to learn English. Student must come in to receive admission ticket before test date. A limited number of tickets are available.

Bend Your Intellect With Computers
Beginning Computers
Learn the computer & its parts, Title Bar & Menu Bar; Intro to Microsoft Word & Basic Internet. This is a beginning level course.
Computers
Microsoft Office Word, Outlook Express, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Windows Media Player. This is an intermediate level course. Come learn important skills valuable in the workforce.
Computers in Spanish
for beginners covering mouse skills, keyboarding, Internet & Microsoft Word. Curso completo en Espanol para principintes, cubrimos el uso del raton, teclado, Interne, correo electronico y Microsoft Word.
