Click the link below for information on fees, updates and additional information for Palm Beach Educator courses at Jupiter Community High School.
Registration will be held March 24-27 AND March 31- April 3 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm (in the cafeteria on the first night only). There will be NO registration tickets handed out at 5:00pm. Students are encouraged not to arrive before 6:00pm for registration. Registration will be held in the main office the other nights. Classes will begin the week of April 14, 2008.

Join us for beginners One Stroke Class with a Certified hands-on instructor. Your choice of surface (paper mache boxes, poster board, canvas, canvas panels, and wood items). Anyone who can write can learn to letter. No unusual talent is required. Students who follow instructions and practice regularly can be assured of satisfactory progress. This course includes a working knowledge and application of a basic alphabet (Cursive) and the necessary tools. It is practical introduction to versatile lettering and poster art. If you want a crochet challenge, this is it. This course was taught at the National Crochet Guild of America Convention this summer in Manchester, NH with overwhelming success. This new class will focus on playing acoustic instrumentals in groups. The instructor will demonstrate how to perform with other musicians with an emphasis toward playing bluegrass and blues. The instructor wil utilize a guitar, bango and mandolin in explaining music theory, back-up, rhythm, and lead techniques. Students will learn how to play in various keys. Students will be divided in small groups depending on their experience. Students with the following instruments are encouraged to register for this class: guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle/violin, and acoustic bass. Each student should have some basic understanding of chord structure for their particular instrument. Skill level: Beginner II to intermediate student.
