This class is a basic introduction to the ancient Yang style Chinese art of Tai Chi Chuan. Classes are designed to explore the benefits of Tai Chi in developing a low impact muscular and skeletal exercise routine, while improving balance, surefootedness, cardio function and breathing techniques. This course is very diverse and can benefit anyone at any level. Wear comfortable clothing.

This class is an intermediate level class. Classes are designed for those students that have
experience in Tai Chi. Classes will explore the same benefits of Tai Chi beginners, just in more depth and techniques. Wear comfortable clothing.
083103 Gourmet Cooking w/Chef Catherine (Start 4/21) M 6:30-9:30pm 6 $60.00
Teacher: Lucas
Gourmet cooking with Catherine Lucas will feature French and Italian techniques and safety will be
stressed along with pasta making, classic sauces, seafood, meats, soups and seasonal vegetables.
Pastry and bread techniques will be included. A $45.00 fee for food will be collected on the first night of class for the six week course. Students should bring an apron and a dish towel and arrive on time for class.

The course is an introduction to the basic skills necessary for understanding and operating today's
computers. No prior knowledge of computer operation is required. Windows is explained and
demonstrated through lectures, demonstrations and hands on operations. Each student will be
assigned to his or her own computer and will learn to use keyboard and mouse techniques.

Student will learn Chinese style cooking with a wok. They will be divided into groups and be
introduced to various Chinese dishes and flavors. They will learn to cook delicious dishes using
oriental vegetables and simple ingredients. Each class will include the process of preparation of
ingredients, the mixing of flavors and the stir fry method of cooking. At the end of each class the
students get to enjoy the results of their own efforts.

Basic obedience classes for all dogs over the age of 6 months. There are 8-1hour sessions.
Sessions cover Basic command such as heel (with practice exercises), sit, stay, come, stand, down, proper use of equipment (lead and collar) and proper corrections. Classes will address some
behavior problems with emphasis on presentation. NO DOGS THE FIRST NIGHT. Dogs must have proof of vaccinations.

The course is an intermediate presentation of Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP that follows the "Intro to Computers" windows" program. A prior knowledge of basic computer operations is required. The classes will include lectures, demonstrations and hands on operations. Topic questions are encouraged throughout the class.
A review of basics such as cut-copy-paste, menus, installing programs, etc. will be given during the
first session and as required during the course. Connecting your computer, peripheral equipment,
making simple repairs and upgrades will be discussed.
The advanced use of word processors, program tool bars, digital photography, scanning, desktop
properties (wallpaper, screen savers, sound), Internet tricks, downloading and recovery will also be
presented.
